Doing Business 10th Anniversary Conference

Doing Business is celebrating a milestone. This year marks the 10th anniversary since the inception of the project. To celebrate, we are organizing a research conference on the impact of Doing Business, to be hosted by the Center for Business and Public Policy at Georgetown University and sponsored by USAID and the Kauffman Foundation in early December 2012.

The deadline has passed for submitting papers. Thank you to everyone who sent us their research.

Authors will be informed of the selection committee’s decision by May 31. Completed papers must be submitted by September 15. Papers will be considered for publication in the World Bank Economic Review. The selection of papers will be done by World Bank Group staff, the editors of the World Bank Economic Review and the faculty of Georgetown University. All papers and conference materials will also be made available on the Doing Business website, which received 2.5 million visits last year.
